Wine 1: Can Blau Red Blend
Cherry with purple reflections, it exhibits a collection of aromatic attributes, ripe fruit, spices, power and complexity, which provide an almost panoramic vision of the possibilities of DO Montsant. Fruity, powerful, meaty and concentrated, impregnated with the notes of the terroir, it shows an elegant breadth of flavors in the mouth and a long, fresh and spicy finish.
Blend: 40% Cariñena, 40% Syrah, 20% Garnacha
Wine 2: Matthew Fritz Sauvignon Blanc
Founded by vintner and entrepreneur Matthew Bonanno, Matthew Fritz is the companion wines to his Napa Valley flagship, BonAnno Cabernet Sauvignon. Matthew Fritz was founded on a few simple principles; seek out and source from top North Coast vineyards, let the fruit stand on its own through a pure, clean winemaking process, and ultimately, ensure every bottle of Matthew Fritz is a true representation of both the variety and appellation. This wine is fresh, lush, with aromas of green mango, guava, citrus, and dried herbs on the nose. The flavors on the palate are Lime zest, green papaya, White nectarine layered with Pink grapefruit skins, sedimentary rock, and a juicy dry finish. Pair with Fish and Chips.
