Wine 1: Delta Sauvignon Blanc
“After seven years of producing wine for their winery Brick & Mortar, the couple created Delta for Environmental Change in 2018 so that they could make a positive change in the environment through donations to non-profit companies such as the Surfrider Foundation and Cool Effect, which are both based in California, but have global reach in their work. For every bottle of Delta that is sold, a percentage of profits is donated to the two foundations. Matt and Alexis live and make wine in Sonoma County, California with their three children. We are a family of six living and producing wine in Healdsburg, California.”
Vineyard: Grown in cool-climate sites along the coastline from Mendocino to Central Coast California.
Winemaking: Natively fermented aged 100% stainless steel tanks.
Tasting Notes: Passion fruit, yellow grapefruit, lime, green melon, honeysuckle.
Wine 2: Vignerons de Florensac Picpoul de Pinet
The 2025 Vignerons de Florensac Ornezon Picpoul de Pinet is a pale yellow, citrus‑driven coastal white from one of the oldest vineyard sites in the Languedoc, made with sustainable practices and designed to pair beautifully with seafood.
Vignerons de Florensac is a historic cooperative (founded 1934) working with about 260 growers in the Côtes de Thau, between Sète and Agde, near the Thau Lagoon. The Florensac vineyard is one of the oldest planted sites on the Mediterranean coast, on clay‑limestone high ground where cooling sea breezes moderate summer heat.
Harvest: At night to preserve freshness and aromas
Farming: Sustainable, HVE‑certified, with pest control via green techniques and solar‑powered refrigeration
Winemaking: Gentle pneumatic pressing, low‑temperature stainless steel fermentation with cultured yeasts, and lees ageing with stirring to add richnes
