Wine 1: Escudo Vinho Verdo Bianco
A blend of 35% Loureiro (whose inviting, aromatic character dominates the blend), 35% Arinto, and 30% Trajadura. This is a textbook example of the style that has brought Vinho Verde to prominence: a kiss of residual sugar to balance out the crisp, Atlantic acidity, all enveloped in a comforting embrace of creamy petillance.
Wine 2: Monemvasia White Blend Volte Greece
70% Roditis, 30% Moscofilero • Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel and then it sees a short 3-month elevage on the fine lees in tank. Light yellow color, aromas of freshly cut flowers, green apple, stone fruits, a smooth mouth-feel, pleasant acidity and finish. Pairs well with salads, yellow cheeses, pasta dishes with white sauces
