Meza Wine Club Rose: May 2026

Wine 1: Milenrama Rose

Milenrama is a fresh, vibrant, great-value Rioja project from the winemaking team of sisters Ruth and Ana de Andrés. Sourcing from thirty-year-old bushvines in the rolling foothills of the Sierra de la Yerga in Rioja Oriental, they are applying clean and modern but sensitive and unobtrusive vinification to hand-harvested fruit in order to achieve a delicious range of contemporary Rioja in all shades: white, rosé, and reds both young and oak-aged. Milenrama is Spanish for “yarrow”, a wildflower commonly encountered along the edges of vineyard paths in Rioja. Pale pink in color with a fine nose of red berries (raspberries and wild strawberries) and a slight aroma of lavender. In the mouth, it is vibrant and refreshing.

Wine 2:Los Conejos Malditos Rose

This wine is made from grapes of our vineyards that most suffer from the rabbits. They appreciate the high quality of the fruit just as much as we do. Unfortunately, they are often faster leaving us with very low yields. 100% rose of Tempranillo (Cencibel). Small wild strawberries, white cassis, rhubarb, hibiscus, and white flowers on the nose. Fresh flavors of red berries and grapefruit. The aftertaste is marked by citrus flavors and a good acidity. A great partner to appetizers, vegan dishes, fish, rice, paella, and white meat.
